The cleric is a class that thrives in a party, using his god given powers to help and advance his allies. All alone he relies on the very same powers to preserve himself and conquer his enemies.

The cleric is also a priest and depending on the faith and his ranks in the church he could be a learned scholar or a sturdy soldier.

Clerics may wear any type of armor as well as a shield although they are limited to blunt weapons only. However, the main tool of the cleric is the spells, they help him to serve, fortify, protect and revitalize his god's worshippers and their allies. The spells are granted directly as gifts from his deity as a reward for his faith.

A priest or priestess of any standing within their church must put their God or Goddess above all else. How could we hope to encourage others to honour and obey the gods if we were to put ourselves before our Lords?
