Antipaladin Bard Cavalier Cleric Fighter Mage Paladin Psion Ranger Thief Multiclass
The thief is a master of deception, and intrigue. Relying on their skill and speed, a thief hits and runs, rarely standing toe to toe with a enemy, for most are usually superior. If forced to stay in combat, the thief and acrobatic ability of a thief comes into play when they "scramble" about.
Thieves know many different skills ranging from the simple sleight of hand tricks of the streetwise pickpocket to the abilities of finding and disarming concealed traps and locks of the everyday dungeon. Thieves also make good spies as they are skilled in moving unseen and detecting noises that other people more often miss.
I still am not certain why it is that you've come to me about this, as last I checked I am no thief indeed. It is terribly amazing to me that everyone is ready to point the finger at one such as myself for possessing any array of skill, or plain dexterousness. All I can give thee for fare warning is thus... if you are a proven locksmith, stay out of sight; if you find yourself coming upon goods in the open, and aquire them for future sale... stay out of sight, and if you are intelligent enough to know that flying face first towards your enemy, swinging wildy, and frothing at the mouth, isn't the wisest of combat techniques.. well, again.. stay out of sight. If you are so lucky as to become good at doing so, well, what can I say, you will still be found a thief, so you might as well take up the mantle, and aquire all you can. - 'Feyd Rautha, the Desert Wind'
