One of the most fortunate of the Birch Glade Elves, Eladian Leaffall has been chosen both for the ownership of a Warhawk and for training in the ancient sorceries of Athel Loren; those rare, prescious few who can hear the voice of the wood. Eladian has always found his greatiest joys soaring high above the wood, and listening to their voices, not here and there close at hand, but as a grand chorus rising upwards towards the sun.

Eladian Leaffall's ability to remain upon the back of Grimbeak is nothing short of astounding. Many have marvelled at how he has managed to not plummet to his death countless times in the past, for he distains the use of a saddle and oft leans far over the side of Grimbeak's back.

Talanis Swiftlance has been a sorrowful leader of the younger Elves. Entrusted by the Forest Lords to lead patrols in the outer reaches of Athel Loren, he was once the commander of a group of noble Glade Riders. Alas for it, but they were beset upon by a massive force of Bestigors from out of the Massif Orcal, and 'twas only by the timely intervention of a similar patrol of Bretonnian Knights that his own life was spared.

The Forest Lords have not lost confidence in Talanis, even as he doubts himself, and he has been given command over the patrols once more. As well, his stance towards the Bretonnian people is...questionable. He is grateful, most of the time, for their rescue and their aid...but he is also reminded of his own shortcomings and failures when e'er he sees them...and oft times, it grates upon him.
