Ever watchful over the youthful tree-spirits of the wood, the dryads, Gnarlroot has formed a special bond with them. Whenever they're out and about, either in defense of the wood or just out of curiosity, Gnarlroot will be not far behind. His association with the youthful, active Dryads has made him seem somewhat odd to his fellow Treemen, and has also led him to be known as one of the most active and mobile of his kind.
