The Renaissance Faire on the grounds of the historic Jubilee College, west of Peoria, was Saturday, and Eric had just arrived for a four-day weekend. Not overly hot this year, fortunately!

We all tried our hand at archery. Last year, Eric did the axe-throw, and remembered that it takes a little more practice than archery, or anything else I can think of right away.
