Light Steam Archive -- A Necessity

Most of the material this Archive is intended to preserve and access is in the hands of a large number of private parties throughout the world. Most of these are ageing enthusiasts and each collection (rarely more than one bookshelf in size) and each item is in constant danger of being dispersed or destroyed. With no major physical archive, the Light Steam Archive is capturing an increasing collection, some of which has actually disappeared from view and access already.
